This program allows graduates and working professionals serves as public policy fellows in their sectors of interests across countries in Africa. Fellows will utilize their analytical and writing skills to analyze public policies and regulations for pubic consumption. In addition, Africa Policy Fellowship will will be exposed to the dynamics of policy making and formulation using qualitative and quantitative policy data.
The Africa Policy Fellowship is a flexible remote-based fellowship providing an opportunity for fellows to design their sub-projects within the general project scope. Time commitment on the project is very flexible. Upon acceptance into te fellowship, fellows will arrange working hours with the project supervisor.
PolicyVault.Africa is a project led by graduate students of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). In a first of its kind project, we are creating an online repository for government policies, business regulations, laws, investment guides, and macroeconomic data of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Through this platform, we hope to connect investors and development partners with verified public data, government agencies, and subject experts in Africa. In the coming months, we will expand to Kenya and Rwanda in the coming months.
By operating at the intersection of business and development, our target market comprises investors, researchers, and non-profits working on Africa-related projects.
