We are looking for a Policy Analyst to join our team in Abuja and assist the team with providing our clients with high-quality policy analysis and advisory services.

Job Summary:

The Policy Analyst will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on policy issues relevant to our clients in Nigeria and across Africa. They will work closely with our team of experts to develop evidence-based policy recommendations that address our clients’ needs and contribute to the development of sustainable public policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Candidate will independently gather information from client resources and work together with client resources
  • Assist in the creation of memoranda, policy briefs, and various policy practices.
  • Candidate will manage clients regarding giving and receiving help directed at them by the client and prioritize client tasking
  • Conduct analysis, organize logical thinking, and produce high-quality deliverables
  • Address client or project challenges appropriately with the appropriate level of support for the team
  • Actively contribute to a stellar performance by the team by ensuring quality delivery on clients’ projects
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports

Qualification and Competencies

  • First-level degree in public policy, Political Science, Economics, and other relevant fields
  • Must be a Master degree or PhD student at a prestigious international university
  • Minimum of 6 months professional experience in business and strategy consulting international development projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Tableau, QGIS, KoboCollect
  • Candidate must be well-versed in report writing
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strategic, innovative individual with the ability to take initiative on simple and complex tasks
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Must possess a historical record of exceptional performance in academics
  • A multifaceted talent that can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must be available for on-site duties in Nigeria (Abuja) for a period of 3 months
