An Act of parliament to provide for the recognition of heroes; to establish criteria for the identification, selection and honoring of national heroes; to provide for the categories of heroes, to provide for the establishment of the national heroes council and for connected purposes. The objective and purpose of this Act is to provide a legal framework for the recognition and honor of national heroes.

The commission in accordance with the constitution, will monitor, facilitate, and oversee the development of legislation and administrative procedures required to implement the constitution.

An Act of parliament to restructure the Kenya national human rights and equality commission and to establish the commission on administrative justice pursuant to Article 59(4) of the constitution; to provide for the membership, powers and functions of the commission on administrative justice, and for connected purposes. It establishes a commission to be known as the commission on administrative justice to acquire, hold, charge and dispose of movable and immovable property, and do or perform all such other things or acts for the proper discharge of its functions under the Constitution and this Act as may lawfully be done or performed by a body corporate.

An Act of parliament to introduce and regulate community service by offenders in certain cases, and for connected matters. Regulation 9 states that service order, such conviction shall be disregarded for the purpose of any enactment by or under which any disqualification or disability is imposed upon convicted persons or by or under which provision is made for a different penalty in respect of an offence committed after a previous conviction.

The act establishes and regulates the local government system in accordance with the Constitution. The act stipulates that existing districts shall continue as districts, and new districts may be declared by the President by executive instrument. The District Assemblies shall be responsible for local government and may, among other things, control local development, land allocation, and water resources.

There is the “National House of Chiefs”, and among them, the Act identifies different titles of those chiefs and their functions.

The act contains provisions and guidelines for effective regulation of towns, dispute management, and promotion of public health. It confers on the Minister, the power to define the boundaries of a town, and the powers to suspend the usage of the act wholly or partially in a town.
