This is a Bill enacted by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that authorize the issue from the Consolidated Revenue, Fund of the Federation for the year 2017.

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) gender policy is a response to the National Gender Policy (2006) and Vision 20:20 (2009) which recognize that gender equality and women’s empowerment are basic human rights that lie at the heart of equitable development and which call on all state and non-state actors to promote gender equality through their institutional practices and policies. This policy therefore seeks to encourage and expand the participation of all in the political and electoral spaces. It demonstrates the Commission’s commitment to the goal of deepening Nigeria’s democratic experience by outlining measures that can collectively be taken to ensure that the participation of nearly half of the population of the country in its affairs is broadened.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) procures goods and services through competitive tenders in accordance with the due process policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria. This manual therefore defines the policies and procedures for determining, contracting and monitoring the acquisition, by purchase or lease, of goods, works and/or non-personnel services by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

This regulation sets out the minimum physical, functional, interface and data requirements for a smart metering system. This covers all classes and types of smart meters, communication systems, and other components of an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) deployment to measure electrical energy consumption, support billing (Multi-Tariff and Multi-Source), pre-paid and credit payment functionality, remote load control (connection/disconnection) and to report events/alarms to other control and monitoring systems e.g. outage management systems (OMS).
