This parliamentary Act establishes the Kenya medical training college as a self-governing institution and to provide for its government, control and management and for connected purposes. It clearly states that admission to the college as candidates for diplomas, certificates or other awards shall be open to all persons accepted as being qualified by the academic board, without distinction of race, tribe, place of origin or residence or other local connections, political opinion, colour, creed or sex; and no barrier based on any such distinction shall be imposed upon any person as a condition of his becoming, or continuing to be a lecturer, graduate, or student of the college, or of his holding office in the college, nor shall any preference be given to, or advantage be withheld from, any person on the grounds of any such distinction.

This parliamentary Act provides for the incorporation of the Kenya Red Cross society and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith. It establishes and constitutes the Kenya Red Cross society. The overall objective of the society is to furnish volunteer aid to the sick and wounded in time of war and to non-belligerents and to prisoners of war and civilian sufferers from the effects of war.

This parliamentary Act provides for securing and maintaining health. It prescribes the establishment of a district health management board in each district which shall be charged with responsibility of overseeing the running of government health institutions in that district.

This is a parliamentary Act to regulate the practice of anatomy. Regulation 3 provides for the licensing of practice of anatomy. It states that the minister may grant a licence to practise anatomy in an approved school of anatomy under some conditions outlined in this document.

Kenya does not have a national occupational safety and health policy. This is an Act of Parliament for the protection of persons against risks of poisoning by certain substances, and for related matters.

The purpose of this action plan is to provide a framework for the intervention activities of the government and stakeholders. The government has support in realizing the millennium development goals through the implementation of high impact nutrition interventions. The interventions include breastfeeding, deworming, food fortification and management of malnutrition. This is an Act of Parliament to control the production, manufacture, sale, labelling, advertising, promotion, and sponsorship of tobacco products, to provide for the Tobacco Control Board for the regulation of tobacco products in Kenya.

The document provides regulations for establishment of Kenya food and drugs authority, the sales of medicines and therapeutic cosmetics, listing of scheduled substances, manufacturing of tobacco products and establishment of the national quality control laboratory.

This policy document identifies some challenges ranging from the weak health information system and issues of access to health services, to the issues that arise from the use information technology in the healthcare. It also identifies the policy environment; the policy framework that defines the vision, objective, mission & statement and also an implementation framework.

An Act to unify the health system, to coordinate the inter-relationship between the national government and county government health systems, to provide for the regulation of health care service and health care service providers, health products and health technologies. This document provides regulations for public health facilities; establishment of Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council; establishment of the Kenya Health Professions Oversight Authority; regulation of health products and health technologies etc.

This strategy was developed to guide the Human Resources Strategy (HRH) interventions for improved health service delivery. Implementation of the strategy will be guided by indicators set out in the result framework under the leadership of the principal secretary ministry of health and chief officers of health in the counties in collaboration with directorate of public service management, public service commission and county public service boards and the Inter-agency coordination committee of Human Resources Strategy (HRH) at the National and county levels.
