The policy aims Zimbabwe’s economy to be based on sound market principles with an emphasis on legal protection for private property.

The detailed policy statements contained in the National Water Policy are built on a set of policy principles that are based on core values of sound practice in the water sector. The policy statements contained in this NWP document are designed to drive the restoration of the water sector in the immediate future and to stand the country in good stead for many years to come.

The National Trade Policy (2012–2016) is intended to achieve to increase exports and promote the diversification of the country’s export basket by harnessing comparative advantage in key priority sectors with the ultimate target of increasing export earnings by at least 10% annually from US$4.3 billion in 2011 to US$7 billion in 2016.

The National Youth Policy seeks to empower the youth by creating an enabling environment and marshalling the resources necessary for undertaking programmes to fully develop youth’s mental, moral, social, economic, political, cultural, spiritual and physical potential to improve their quality of life.

An Act to provide for the declaration of the fundamental rights to, and objectives of, education in Zimbabwe; to provide for the establishment, maintenance and regulation of government schools, government teachers colleges and other government educational facilities; to provide for the establishment and administration of non-government schools and teachers colleges, and for the registration and control thereof; to provide for the registration and control of correspondence colleges and independent colleges and the establishment of an advisory council for such colleges; to make financial provision for schools and teachers colleges; to provide for the transfer of teachers to the public service, and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

This Monetary Policy Statement is issued in terms of Section 46 of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Act which requires the Bank to issue a statement containing a description of the monetary policy to be followed by the Bank during six months, and a statement of the reasons for those policies.

The overall objective of the policy is to restore the manufacturing sector’s contribution to the GDP of Zimbabwe from the current 15% to 30% and its contribution to exports from 26% to 50% by 2016.

The overall goal of the Water Policy is to achieve sustainable utilisation of water resources that in turn will improve: equity in access to freshwater by all Zimbabweans; the efficient use of water among competing uses; provision of affordable and sustainable WASH services; and the environmental protection.

The goal of ZimHealth is to rehabilitate, support and sustain the public health service delivery in Zimbabwe especially to vulnerable mothers and children.

Zim Asset is a cluster-based Plan, reflecting the strong need to fully exploit the internal relationships and linkages that exist between the various facets of the economy.

A Comprehensive Framework for the Development of Zimbabwe’s Agriculture Sector.

This Plan aligns with the goals and objectives of the National Agricultural Policy Framework (NAPF) (GoZ 2018b), Vision 2030 (GoZ 2018c) and the Transitional Stabilization Programme (TSP) (GoZ 2018d). It takes account of the ongoing agriculture visioning exercise, climate change strategies, policies and guidelines; as well as taking on board recommendations from the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (CAADP), Post Compact Review of Zimbabwe’s 2013-2017 and Agriculture Investment Plan (ZAIP) (2018).

An Act to amend the Education Act [Chapter 25:04]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental the foregoing.

These Foreign Trade and Investment Guidelines demonstrate to investors the administrative and facilitative roles of the Reserve Bank in fostering trade and investment between Zimbabwe and the rest of the world.

An Act to provide for taxation in respect of the supply of goods and services and the importation and exportation of goods; to provide for the repeal of the Sales Tax Act [Chapter 23:08]; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

The main objective of this Monetary Policy Statement is to present policies that stimulate the national economy with a vision for Zimbabwe to regain its status of being the Bread Basket of Africa

The 2016-2020 National Health Strategy builds on the 2009-2013 strategy and its extension in 2014-15 by addressing existing gaps and, more importantly, seeks to sustain the gains achieved thus far through a comprehensive response to the burden of disease and strengthening of the health system to deliver quality health services to all Zimbabweans. The strategy lays out the health agenda for 2016- 2020 taking into account the broader policy context that is largely defined by the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim-Asset) and the Sustainable Development Goals.

This Transitional Stabilisation Programme over October 2018 to December 2020 draws its policy thrust from Vision 2030. It focuses on stabilising the macro-economy, and the financial sector; introducing the necessary policy, and institutional reforms, to transform to a private sector-led economy; and launching quick-wins to stimulate growth.
