An Act to amend the Zambia Law Development Commission Act.

An Act to provide for the principles of, and a framework for, technical regulation that are compliant with best practice and regional and international obligations to which Zambia is a party. It establishes the Department of Technical Regulation in the ministry responsible for trade and provides for the development and implementation of technical regulation for public safety and health, consumer protection and environmental protection. It also offers professional guidance to regulatory agencies on the development, implementation, administration and review of technical regulations.

An Act to amend the Presidential Emoluments Act.

An Act to provide for the co-ordination and registration of non-governmental organisations; establish the Non-Governmental Organisations’ Registration Board and the Zambia Congress of Nongovernmental Organisations; constitute the Council of Non-Governmental Organisations; enhance the transparency, accountability and performance of nongovernmental organisations; and provide for related matters.

An Act to promote and facilitate the implementation of privately financed infrastructure projects and effective delivery of social services by enhancing transparency, fairness and long term sustainability and removing undesirable restrictions on private sector participation in the provision of social sector services and the development and operation of public infrastructure; establish a Public-Private Partnership Unit and provide for its functions; establish the Public-Private Partnership Council and provide for its functions; provide for public-private partnerships for the construction and operation of new infrastructure facilities and systems and the maintenance, rehabilitation, modernisation, expansion and operation of existing infrastructure facilities and systems and the provision of social sector services.

An Act to authorise expenditure from the general revenues of the Republic of money required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ending on the 31 December 2009 not exceeding in the aggregate fifteen trillion, two hundred and seventy-nine billion, thirty-seven million, two hundred and sixty-eight thousand, three hundred and sixteen Kwacha.

An Act to amend the Notaries Public and Notarial Functions Act

An Act to amend the Constitution of Zambia.

An Act to provide for agreements by the Republic of Zambia with neighbouring states on the implementation of one -stop border processing; arrangements; give effect to provisions of agreements on one-top border posts; authorise the application of the laws of Zambia and laws of the adjoining State in the one-stop border post; and provide for related matters.

An Act to continue the existence of the Communications Authority and re-name it as the Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority; provide for the regulation of information and communication technology; facilitate access to information and communication technologies; protect the rights and interests of service providers and consumers; repeal the Telecommunications Act, 1994, and the Radiocommunications Act, 1994; and provide for related matters.

An Act to amend the Mines and Minerals Development Act.

This Act repeals the Weights and Measures Act, 1994 and provides for the operations of the Zambia Weights and Measures Agency, renames it as the Zambia Metrology Agency. It establishes the board of the Agency and provides for the designation, keeping and maintenance of national measurement standards.

An Act to Repeal the Dairy Produce Board (Establishment) Act.

An Act to amend the Registration of Business Names Act.

This Act support the Zambia Bureau of Standards and re-define its powers and functions; provide for standardisation and quality assurance of products and services through the setting of national standards and provision of conformity assessment services for products and services. It repeals the Standards Act, 1994; and provide for related matters.

An Act to amend the Trade Marks Act.

An Act to amend the Registered Designs Act.
