The strategic framework sets out a comprehensive approach for the provision of water services in South Africa, as it relates to small community water supply and sanitation schemes in remote rural areas, and large regional schemes supplying water and wastewater services to people and industries in the largest urban areas. It enshrines sustainability guidelines, health education, economic development and sustainable livelihoods, institutional reform, water boards, and the private sector.

The amendment stipulates that persons may apply for permits by submission of application on the form highlighted in the annexure; applications must be submitted to the organ of state unless directed otherwise.

The act applies in the Prince Edward Islands, and to the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of the Republic; It equally binds all organs of state, and is to be read alongside the principles enshrined in the biodiversity act, and the national environmental management act of 1998. The objectives of the act include; provision for the declaration and management of protected areas, to manage and conserve the biodiversity of the Republic, and to provide for continued existence of national parks in South Africa.

The notice amends the control measures of the Agricultural Pests Act. It substitutes table 1 of the control measures with a fees payable table.

The notice publishes the list of all protected trees belonging to particular species specified in the schedules. It further states that: no person may cut, disturb, damage or destroy any protected tree or possess, collect, remove, transport, export, purchase, sell, or donate any protected tree species or products derived from it except as approved by an authority.

These guidelines provide a mechanism for the standardization of clinical education in nurse training in South Africa. The document provides the re-establishment of clinical education and training platforms in health establishments/facilities to standardize the content and quality of clinical nursing education and management.

The regulations are subject to the foodstuffs, cosmetics, and disinfectants act of 1972. It inserts definitions for textual correctness.

Amendment of regulations published in the marine living resources act of 1998. Regulation 51, pertaining to age limits for obtaining permits, and annexure two of the regulations are altered.

Animal feeds covered by the policy include; encompass feed ingredients, feed additives, pet foods and feeds intended for cattle, sheep, goats, horses, poultry, pigs, wild animals, fresh water and sea fish, birds, dogs and cats, ostriches and other companion animals. The publication is a multi-sectoral national policy that provides the framework for the regulation and legislation of animal feeds in South Africa. It provides for an effective and efficient regulatory system that will ensure matters related to feed ingredients and animal feeds result in safe feed and food products.

The entire Namaqua Fossil Forest marine protected area is zoned as a single controlled zone, which is determined using the World Geodetic System (WGS) of 1984. The regulations stipulate that no scientific research within the protected area shall be carried out except with a research permit issued by the Minister. It lists out the general restrictions within the protected area.

An amendment of the table in Annexure A that highlights foodstuff, preservative, and quantity permitted.

The entire Southeast Atlantic Seamounts marine protected area consists of one restricted zone, and two controlled zones, which are determined using the World Geodetic System (WGS) of 1984. The regulations stipulate that no scientific research within the protected area shall be carried out except with a research permit issued by the Minister. It lists out the general restrictions within the protected area.

The regulations amended relate to; procedures in case of loss of copies of deeds, substitution and addition of forms, and cancellation of mortgage bonds.

The notice sets out the parties mandated to register with Milk South Africa, the application process by the parties, the timeline for application, details of the application document, and addressing of applications.

This policy aims to promote high standards of practice in the recruitment and employment of health professionals who are not South Africans or permanent residents. It aims at precluding the active recruitment of health professionals from developing countries unless there are specific government to government agreements to allow and support such recruitment.

The declaration operates under the 2014 Air Quality Act. The greenhouse gases declared as priority pollutants are outlined, and it is mandated that people carrying out activities specified in the annexure should prepare pollution prevention plans for approval.

This regulatory document emphasizes that no agricultural product shall contain seeds of Crotalaria species, Datura species or Ricinus communis in measures greater than one seed per 1000g; and seeds of Argemone mexicana L., Convolvulus species, Ipomoea purpurea Roth., Lolium temulentum and Xanthium species in measures greater than seven seeds per 1000g.

The Act recognizes the scared nature of water and its uneven distribution in the Republic; it also points to the discriminatory laws and practices of the past that prevented the equitable access to and use of water resources in South Africa. It calls for integrated management of water resources and delegation of duties, to enable an inclusive process of water resource development.

The government is determined to uplift the well-being of its citizens, culturally, socially, and economically, without any form of discrimination. Indigenous knowledge is defined as knowledge that has been developed within an indigenous community and has been assimilated into the cultural and social identity of that community; knowledge of functional nature, natural resources, and cultural expressions. The Act applies to all persons within the Republic, and all knowledge specified in the Act.

The Act provides for the expropriation of land and other property for public and other specified purposes. It spells out the powers of the minister and local authorities, an inspection of properties meant for expropriation, offers of compensation, payment, basis of determining compensation, determination by the court or arbitration in absence of agreement, and withdrawal of expropriation, among others.
