This is an Act to establish an International Institute of Tropical Agriculture to undertake high-quality research into tropical agriculture and related matters.

This Decree provides for the payment of fees collected from the students of the Nigerian law school into the treasury as revenue.

This Decree establishes the Federal Savings Bank to provide a ready means for the deposit of savings to encourage thrift in Nigeria. It repeals the Savings Bank Act (Cap. 188).

The Decree re-enacts the Military Courts (Special Powers) Decree 1968 and includes in the Decree provisions relative to the procedure to be followed before trial and during the trial of any member of the armed forces charged with an offence under the Decree.

The Decree repeals Part III of the University of Benin Edict 1975 and makes new provisions for the continuing in being of that institution including the establishment of a new Management Board for the running of the affairs of the teaching hospital.

The Order proscribes the two associations commonly known and referred to as the Nigeria Medical Association and the National Association of Resident Doctors. Consequently, the Order applies the provision of the Trade Disputes (Essential Services) Act 1976, as amended, to the associations, their officers and their property. Legal proceedings are excluded.

It sets the rules for assigning, transferring, porting, and using numbers under the national numbering and electronic addressing plan.

This decree provides for the establishment of a board to be called the National Census Board. The board shall be responsible for the overall control and supervision of the arrangements for the census.

This regulatory document provides regulations for institutions and organizations engaged in the practice of computing, provision of information technology professional services.

This is an Act to prohibit the carrying, depositing and dumping of harmful waste on any land, territorial waters and matters relating thereto.

This is an Act to provide for the prohibition of importation into Nigeria of certain foodstuffs especially those contaminated by toxic substances and the penalty for the contravention of the said prohibition.

This is an Act to provide for the promotion of maritime safety and security, protection in the maritime environment, shipping registration and commercial shipping, maritime labour, the establishment of Nigerian maritime administration and safety agency; and for related matters.

This is an Act to establish the co-operative development division in the federal ministry of employment, labour and productivity; to establish a national advisory council to advise the minister on matters relating to co-operative development.

This is an Act to make provisions for declaring as bankrupt any person who cannot pay his debts of a specified amount and to disqualify him from holding certain elective and other public offices or from practising any regulated profession (except as an employee).

This declares an annual education tax which shall be assessed, collected and administrated per the provisions of this decree. It emphasizes that the tax at the rate of 2 per cent, shall be charged on the assessable profit of a company registered in Nigeria.
