This represents the proclamation to levy tax on the export of raw and semi-processed hides and skins. The tax shall be payable on export of the following hides and skins: raw hides and skin; wet blue cowhides; pickled sheep skin; wet-blue sheep skin; wet-blue goat skin.

National Petroleum Reserve Depots Administration is established as an autonomous public institution of the Federal Government. The administration shall be accountable to the ministry of Mining and energy. The objectives of the Administration shall be to store and administer National Petroleum Reserve.

This proclamation hereby establishes the Leather and Leather Products Technology Institute as an autonomous federal government institution having its legal personality. The institute is charged with producing skilled and trained personnel through training, research and consultancy services along the leather and leather products value chain.

The council of ministers regulations to amend the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation Establishment proclamation of 1997.

This strategy focuses on the need to deviate from the usage of draught animals for farm operations. This has become quite pertinent owing to the drive to ensure increased yield, reduce post-harvest losses and emission of greenhouse gases. It notes the challenges and difficulties that may arise in this transition and provides recommendations to combat these challenges. The strategy hopes to serve as a guide to coordinate all efforts geared towards agricultural mechanization in the country.

The Environmental Protection Authority is established as an autonomous public institution of the Federal Government. The Authority shall be accountable to the Council of Ministers. “The objective of the Authority shall be to ensure that all matters on the country’s social and economic development activities are carried out in a manner that will protect the welfare of human beings as well as sustainably protect, develop and utilize the resource bases on which they depend for survival”.

The Ethiopian Electricity Agency is established as an autonomous federal agency having its legal personality, accountable to the ministry of mines and energy, and serving to promote the development of efficient, high quality, and economical electricity services.

The chemical industry corporation is established as a public enterprise to be governed by the public enterprise proclamation of 1992. The corporation shall be supervised by the supervising authority of the corporation. The proclamation details and spells out the objectives, capital, liability, and duration. The proclamation repeals the Mugher cement factory re-establishment council of ministers regulation of 1999 and transfers its rights and obligations to the corporation.

A proclamation to repeal the agricultural mechanization services corporation establishment proclamation of 1987. Its rights and obligations are transferred to the Agricultural Mechanization Services Enterprise established as a Public Enterprise under the Council of Ministers Regulation 97 of 2004.

This represents the proclamation to amend the fuel price stabilization fund establishment proclamation of 2001.
