This Act repeals the Workmen’s Compensation Act Cap. W6 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and makes comprehensive provisions for payment of compensation to employees who suffer from occupational diseases or sustain injuries arising from an accident at the workplace or in the course of employment.

This is a post-training follow-up tool was developed to train caregivers providing quality family planning services to clients who need IUDs and implant contraceptives. This tool was developed to accelerate Nigeria’s achievement of the target Family Planning Blueprint of 36 per cent Contraceptive Prevalence Rate by 2018.

This Act repeals the Debt Management Office (Establishment) Act No, 18 of 2003 and enacts the Debt management Bureau Act, 2011 responsible for maintaining a reliable database of all loans taken or guaranteed by the Federal, State Governments, Local Governments or any of their agencies.

This Act provides for secured transactions, registration and regulation of security interests in movable assets. Its objectives are to enhance financial inclusion in Nigeria, stimulate responsible lending to micro, small and medium enterprises, facilitate access to credit secured with movable assets, facilitate perfection of security interests in movable assets and establish a collateral registry and provide for its operations.

This Act provides for the framework for credit reporting, licensing and regulation of credit bureaus. The objectives of this Act are to facilitate and promote access to credit and enhance risk management in a credit transaction, to promote access to accurate, fair and reliable credit information and to protect the privacy of such information, set standards and conditions for the establishment, regulation and operations of credit bureaus.

This is an Act to establish the Defence Space Administration, develop satellite technology, ensure the security of the nation’s cyber activities. Its objectives are to facilitate and implement the defines and security aspect of the national space policy, to provide resilient and affordable space and cyberspace capabilities for the Nigerian military, other security and law enforcement agencies.

This Act establishes the North-East Development Commission responsible for receiving and managing funds allocated by the Federal Government and international donors for the resettlement, rehabilitation, integration and reconstruction of roads, houses and business premises of victims of insurgency. This Act also aims to address the menace of poverty, illiteracy, ecological problems and any other related environmental or development challenges in the North-East States.

This Act amends the Niger Delta Development Commission (Establishment, etc.) Act, No 6, 2000 to increase the funding of the Commission for effective discharge of its duties.

This Act establishes the National Intelligence Agency Pensions Board charged with the responsibility for administering the pensions scheme for personnel of the agency. The Act is in consequence of the exit of the agency from the application of the contributory pension scheme under the Pensions Reform Act, 2014.

This policy document focuses on building the capacity of both public and private sectors to strengthen the activities of the Food Safety Control Agencies. It also highlights the steps to build capabilities of stakeholders in the private and public sector in effective food management of food safety.

These regulations apply to any civil aircraft accidents or incidents arising out of or in the course of air navigation and either occurring in or over Nigeria or occurring to Nigerian registered aircraft elsewhere and/or where the interest of Nigeria is involved and also any accident or incidents involving state and civil aircraft in a civil aerodrome either occurring in or over Nigeria. Regulation 6 defines the functions of the Bureau. Some of its functions include determination and classification of occurrences, the conduct of investigations into accident, serious incident or incident arising out of or in the course of air navigation and either occurring in or over Nigeria or occurring elsewhere as applicable to an aircraft registered in Nigeria or operated by Nigerian operator etc.

This part prescribes the requirements for registration and marking of civil aircraft under the provisions of the Civil Aviation Act 2006. It does not apply to meteorological pilot balloons used exclusively for meteorological purposes, to unmanned free balloons without a payload; or Nigerian military aircraft. It emphasizes that No person may operate a civil aircraft that is eligible for registration under the laws of Nigeria unless it has been registered by its owner or operator under the provisions of the laws of Nigeria and the Authority has issued a certificate of registration for that aircraft which shall be carried aboard that aircraft for all operations.

This regulation prescribes the requirements for original certification of aircraft and aeronautical products, supplemental type certificates, issuance of a certificate of airworthiness, continued airworthiness of aircraft and aeronautical components; aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements; and maintenance records and entries.

These regulations in Part 6 prescribe the requirements for issuing approvals to organizations for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations of aircraft and aeronautical products and prescribes the general operating rules for an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).

These regulations in Part 7 prescribes the minimum instrument and equipment requirements for all aircraft in all operations.

These part 8 regulations prescribe the requirements for operations conducted by a flight crewmember certified in Nigeria while operating aircraft registered in Nigeria; operations of foreign aircraft registered in another State by Nigerian AOC holders; operations of aircraft within Nigeria by the flight crew or AOC holders of another State.

This regulatory document applies to the carriage of passengers, cargo or mail for remuneration or hire by persons whose principal place of business or permanent residence is located in Nigeria. It prescribes requirements for the original certification and continued validity of Air Operator Certificates (AOC) issued by Nigeria. Except where specifically noted, Part 9 applies to all commercial air transport operations by AOC holders for which Nigeria is the State of the operator under the definitions provided in Annex 6 to the convention on international civil aviation.

These regulations prescribes requirements applicable to the operation of any civil aircraft, including aeroplane or helicopter, for commercial air transportation operations by any air operator whose air operator certificate is issued and controlled by a civil aviation authority other than Nigeria.

This part contains the requirements for those operators and operations that are considered to be aerial work in Nigeria. It emphasizes that all persons who conduct aerial work in Nigeria must comply with the certification requirements of this part. All persons who conduct aerial work in Nigeria must comply with the applicable airworthiness and operational requirements of this Part, except where this part grants relief from those requirements or specifies additional requirements.

Part 12 provides for the certification of aerodromes and heliports and the issuance of an operating certificate. It is presented in 13 sections dealing with aerodrome certification, aerodrome manual, aerodrome design requirements, obligations of aerodrome operator, operation of a heliport, heliport certification, heliport manual, heliport design requirements and obligations of a heliport operator. These regulations incorporate the Standard and Recommended Practices (SARPs) in Annex 14 to the Chicago convention as well as the provisions of the Aerodrome Standards Manual (ASM).
