This Act defines the Admiralty Jurisdiction of the Federal High Court, gives an interpretation of ”maritime claim” and makes provision concerning certain procedures and powers of enforcement of the court. Jurisdiction shall include any claim for liability incurred for oil pollution damage and any matter arising from shipping and navigation on any inland waters declared as nation waterways.””

This is an Act to vest all land comprised in the territory of each state (except land vested in the Federal Government or its agencies) solely in the Governor of the state, who would hold such land in trust for the people and would henceforth be responsible for allocation of land in all urban areas to individuals resident in the state and to organizations for residential, agricultural, commercial and other purposes while similar powers with respect to non-urban areas are conferred on local governments.

This is an Act to create offences related to unauthorized entry and carrying on of illegal transactions within any of the ports and to extend the jurisdiction of the chief magistrate courts to the trial of the offences created by the Act.

An Act to dissolve The Nigerian Produce Marketing Company Limited and all the states marketing boards and, in their place, set up six new commodity boards to which certain staff and assets of the dissolved company and boards are to be transferred. It establishes six corporate bodies: the Nigerian Cocoa Board, the Nigerian Groundnut Board, the Nigerian Cotton Board, the Nigerian Palm Produce Board, the Nigerian Rubber Board and the Nigerian Grains Board.

This is an Act to provide for the establishment of community banks and other matters connected therewith. It provides for the establishment of the National Board for Community Banks, etc. It also states the functions of the Board, it includes responsibility for accepting and processing applications for the setting up of banks throughout Nigeria, incorporating banks as private companies with the membership of fifty or more persons and determining the fees to be paid from time to time, undertaking such other activities as are necessary or expedient for giving full effect to the provisions of this act etc.

The Board will be responsible for determining who are estate surveyors and valuers for this Act, determining what standards of knowledge and skill are to be attained by persons seeking to become registered as estate surveyors and valuers.

These rules, made under paragraphs 2 and 4 of the second schedule of The Estate Surveyors And Valuers (registration, etc.) act, concerns reference of a case to and proceedings of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Disciplinary Tribunal. in any case wherein pursuance of section 13 (3) of the act the estate surveyors and valuers investigating panel believes that a prima facie case is made against an estate surveyor and valuer, the panel shall prepare a report of the case and formulate any appropriate charge or charges and forward them to the secretary together with all the documents considered by the panel.

This is an Act to confer sundry powers to certain products intended for export. The minister for the time being charged with responsibility for external trade may, from time to time, make regulations prescribing grades and standards of quality for any product intended for export, not being produced for export purchased by the relevant commodity board.

It is stated that the Agency shall instruct the person responsible for the spillage or discharge to clean up all released dangerous harmful wastes or hazardous substances within the time or days as may be specified, designate and treat, store or dispose of all solids, water or other materials contaminated by the spillage or discharge under specific directives given in that behalf by the agency or any person or authority authorized in that behalf to issue the directive and restore the area affected by the spillage or discharge and replenish resources in a manner acceptable to the Agency or any other person or authority authorized in that behalf by the Agency.

Some of the functions of the School shall be to provide courses of instruction, training and research in surveying, cartography, photography, lithography, hydrography, photogrammetry, remote sensing and other related courses, produce technical, professional and such other skilled personnel, normally required for surveying and mapping duties and provide specialized professional training for registration as surveyors.

This is an Act to make provisions for the investigation of the assets of any public officer who is alleged to have been engaged in corrupt practices, unjust enrichment of himself or any other person who has abused his office or has in any way breached the code of conduct for public officers contained in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
