This Presidential Executive Order establishes a scheme to be known as “the Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme” (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”). The primary objective of the Scheme is to enhance road infrastructure development for balanced economic growth in Nigeria and refurbish roads in Nigeria in exchange for tax credits.

This is a Presidential Executive Order which extends to the execution and maintenance of the constitution to abolish all corrupt practices and abuse of power.

This order recognizes the vital role of science, technology and innovation in national economic development. Therefore, it aims to harness domestic talents and develop indigenous capacity in science and engineering for the promotion of technological innovation needed to drive national competitiveness, productivity and economic activities which will invariably enhance the achievement of the nation’s development goals across all sectors of the economy.

This Executive Order permits the Federal Ministry of Finance to set up a Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) for all categories of taxpayers who have defaulted in payment of taxes due and collectable subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions that are stipulated in this Order and other subsequent complementary regulations. The scheme encourages and provides an opportunity for eligible taxpayers to regularize their tax status for all the relevant years; pay all outstanding taxes; prevent and stop tax evasion; and ensure full tax compliance.

This is an act to regulate the importation of live fish, and for purposes connected therewith. It provides for the control of the import of live freshwater fish. It emphasizes that no person shall import any live fish into Nigeria except under the terms of a license under this act granted to him or her by the Minister, or in transit under prescribed conditions. A license may be granted either unconditionally or subject to such conditions (including conditions relating to the fish when dead) as the Minister considers expedient for avoiding the incidence or spread of disease or parasitic states among live fish in waters from which he considers that fish may be caught for consumption in Nigeria.

This is an act to provide for the establishment of the Lagos Port Operations Committee to supervise and coordinate all operations at Lagos port. It provides for the establishment of the Lagos Port Operations Committee, which shall coordinate all operations at Lagos port. There shall be a port manager who shall be responsible for the discharge of the functions of the committee and the transaction of its day-to-day business.

This is an act to establish The Maritime Operations Co-Coordinating Board to formulate policies for the effective control of all maritime operations in Nigeria’s territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone. It establishes the Maritime Operations Co-Coordinating Board, defining its functions and administration. The board shall formulate policies, including maritime policy, for the control of all maritime operations in Nigeria’s territorial waters and exclusive economic zone to co-ordinate existing policies regulating activities of agencies performing functions relating to maritime operations; enforce its policies through its member agencies and ascribe appropriate sanctions on any agency found to be defaulting in the performance of the roles ascribed to it by The Board.

An Act to make provisions for the establishment and licensing of mortgage institutions to grant loans and advance to individuals for the purchase or construction of a dwelling house; improvement or extension of an existing dwelling house; and to accept savings and deposits from members of the public and to pay interest thereon. This act provides for the licensing of mortgage institutions and lays down rules for mortgage businesses by licensed mortgage institutions. If any company intends to carry on mortgage business in Nigeria, it shall apply in writing through the Federal Mortgage Bank to the Minister for the grant of a license in accordance with the following provisions of this act. Every mortgage institution shall submit to the Federal Mortgage Bank such returns as specified. The Federal High Court shall have jurisdiction to try all offences created under this act.

The overall objective of this plan is to achieve household food security. The FAO partnered with Nigeria Government to provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable households; foster the resilience of crisis-affected communities through improved agricultural production; restoration and strengthening of productive assets; support income-generating activities; strengthen coordination with the Food Security Sector partners and stakeholders.

This is an Act to make provision for flags to be worn by Nigerian ships other than those of the Nigerian Navy or Naval Reserve as evidence of Nigerian nationality, on all lawful occasions to be classed as ensigns and to be distinguished by their respective colours; and for other matters connected therewith. The regulations provide that the Minister of Transport may respect the blue and the red ensigns, but not otherwise, make regulations prescribing) recommended proportions for the ensigns, appropriate to the size of the ship, special occasions on which the blue ensign may be worn by ships not owned by any of the governments of Nigeria, and the form of warrant of authority with reference to the wearing of the blue ensign.

This is an Act to establish a council known as The Raw Materials Research and Development Council to develop local raw materials and co-ordinate research efforts, especially in relation to raw materials acquisition, exploitation, conservation and development. The functions of the Council shall be to draw up policy guidelines and action programmes on raw materials acquisition, exploitation and development) to review from time to time, raw material resources availability and utilisation with a view to advising the Federal Government on the strategic implication of depletion, conservation or stock-piling of such resources, to encourage publicity of research findings and other information relevant to local sourcing of industries etc.

This is an act to establish the Town Planners’ Registration Council for the registration of town planners and to provide extensively for the regulation of the profession of town planning. The tribunal shall consist of the President of the Council and eleven other members of the Council appointed by The Council and shall include three members of The Council holding office by virtue of paragraph (b) of section 1 (3) of this Act or, where the number of those members is for the time being less than three, all those members.

This is an Act to provide for the furnishing to the director of Federal Surveys of Information relating to survey work to provide for the carrying out of certain additional operations, by persons doing the work and for purposes connected with the matters. It emphasizes no survey work within the meaning of this act shall be carried out unless the person responsible for carrying out the work has given to the director of federal surveys (in this act referred to as “the director”), not less than three months then next preceding the day on which the work commences, or such shorter period as the director may allow, a notice of the work in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

This protocol serves as a resource for health workers who provide promotive, preventive and curative health services to respond to adolescents and younger people more effectively and with greater care and sensitivity.

This document provides rules for the disciplinary committee to deal with any case against a quantity surveyor.

These rules are made under paragraph 2 in the second schedule of the Quantity Surveyors Act. The rules guide the proceedings and cases against practitioners referred to the Quantity Surveyors Disciplinary Committee by the registered quantity surveyors investigating panel.

This is an Act to establish the Quantity Surveyors’ Registration Board of Nigeria and to provide for the registration of quantity surveyors; determine the standard of knowledge and skill be obtained by a person seeking registration and matters connected therewith. This act establishes The Quantity Surveyors’ Registration Board of Nigeria as a body corporate and defines its functions and powers. It also provides for registration of quantity surveyors by the board and establishes the disciplinary committee and the registered quantity surveyors investigating panel. The committee shall be charged with the duty of considering and determining any case referred to it by the panel. The act also defines penalties for unprofessional conduct and grants regulation-making powers to the minister.

These regulations provide rules for the storage, sealing, packing, handling and inspection of copra destined for exportation. Where copra inspected, graded, sealed and marked for export by the Produce Inspection Service of any State is delivered at any port for shipment, officers of the Federal Produce Inspection Service shall conduct check-tests on the batch. Copra lots may be condemned or be made subject to treatment by fumigation.

This is an Act to make provisions for the re-sealing of probates and letters of administration issued and sealed in the High Court of a state by the High Court of another state and to make similar provisions relating to commonwealth countries.
